If you're an existing customer, you may have specific questions about your agreement. Here are a selection of the questions our Customer Services Team are most frequently asked.
We're happy to change your payment date for a maximum of 15 days either forwards or backwards for no extra charge. Should you wish to move your payments further than this 15 day allowance an interest charge will be payable.
We understand that during your agreement, your circumstances may change. For example, you may want to increase the amount you pay each month or have a lump sum that you'd like to pay into your agreement. You might even wish to change the mileage agreed at the start of the agreement.
Whatever the change, please contact a member of our Customer Services Team for assistance.
You must continue making your monthly payments or rentals until the matter has been resolved with your insurance company, but please ensure that our Customer Services Team is notified as soon as possible after the theft or accident.
Please note that if the amount paid by your insurance company is insufficient to meet the settlement figure on your agreement, you'll be required to meet the difference between the insurance company settlement figure, and the amount due to us in settlement of your agreement. If however, you've taken out BMW Protect Insurance and paid all the premiums relating to this, this insurance cover will meet the difference between the insurance company settlement and the amount due to BMW Financial Services to settle your agreement.
The Data Protection Act only permits us to speak to the customer named on the agreement. You can, however, nominate another person with whom we may discuss your agreement's details. To do this, you must give us written permission together with a password in order that we can check their identity.
Subject to your motorcycle insurer's terms and conditions, you may take your motorcycle to any country within the EU for a continuous stay of 30 days or less, and not more than 60 days (in total) in any calendar year.

We may be able to look at refinancing this final balloon payment for you (subject to underwriting criteria being met). Please contact our Customer Services Team who will be able to help.
We must receive regular monthly payments or rentals as outlined in your agreement and for this reason we don't operate a payment holiday policy. If you're struggling to meet your financial commitment, please contact our Customer Services Team to discuss these payment difficulties and reach a mutually agreeable solution.
If your agreement is regulated by the Consumer Credit Act, it is not possible to transfer your agreement to someone else even if they are your spouse or partner.
If you're waiting for the delivery of a new motorcycle or need an extension to your original agreement while you're looking into selling your BMW, we may be able to extend your agreement up to a maximum of six months. This is only appropriate to balloon/final payment products. To obtain a quotation please send your request in writing to our Customer Services Team. Please note there may be an additional charge for this.
