No matter where you travel, no matter what the terrain – with the new F 800 GS Adventure you can master any challenge. This travel enduro has been created for true globetrotters for whom no destination is too remote and who want to conquer the world off the beaten track.
Powered by the potent 63 kW (85 hp) parallel twin engine, the F 800 GS Adventure helps you leave civilisation behind and break boundaries. And with a torque of 83 Nm, this enduro has enough power reserves to overcome even the toughest off-road challenge with supreme confidence.
Be it sand dunes, mountain passes or river crossings, the F 800 GS Adventure can master any task it is faced with and reach the most faraway places. The bike is supported by the torsion-resistant tubular steel frame with spring travels of 230 mm at the front and 215 mm at the rear. The rider is also electronically supported with the ‘Enduro’ ESA mode which optimises suspension response on loose surfaces. Furthermore, the introduction of optional ‘off road’ riding mode gives the rider even more flexibility and riding dynamics. First installed in the R 1200 GS, it has already proved its worth on the 'One World. One R 1200 GS’ tours and now celebrates its second deployment in the new F 800 GS Adventure. In Off Road mode, both ASC and ABS have delayed reaction for more adaptive and responsive acceleration on every surface. ABS is of course a standard feature as on all BMW Motorrad models.
The new 24-litre fuel tank, ergonomically formed seat, wider fairings, and extra-large windshield give this touring enduro its absolute robustness and without doubt the F 800 GS Adventure is a true member of the GS family. Laterally positioned protectors around the engine and fuel tank emphasise the motorcycle’s masculinity. And riders can add the finishing touches with a range of special accessories, such as the aluminium panniers and new ‘adventure’ navigator; allowing the adventure to commence as soon as you are ready.
The F 800 GS Adventure: the reliable and robust companion built to conquer the world.
