Visitors to next weekend’s British round of the MotoGP Championship (15-17 June) will have the opportunity to see BMW Motorrad’s star stunt rider perform on the world-famous circuit, enter a competition to win London 2012 tickets, meet BMW’s MotoGP expert Loris Capirossi, book test rides, and see the latest motorcycles from the 2012 BMW range.
BMW Motorrad’s star stunt rider Christian Pfeiffer will be performing his latest freestyle stunts on the Sunday of this year’s British Grand Prix. The four-times Stunt-Riding World Champion will entertain the crowds riding his custom F 800 R roadster around Silverstone’s legendary GP circuit following the MotoGP race at around 15:25 on Sunday.
Eagle-eyed race fans should also keep their eyes peeled for a very special motorcycle – a golden S 1000 RR. Anyone spotting this one-of-a-kind BMW should have their camera to hand and take a photo. Visitors who take and upload a snap of this special RR to BMW’s www.golden.bmw.co.uk website

Legendary former GP racer and 250cc World Champion Loris Capirossi will be meeting fans and signing autographs on the BMW Motorrad stand at 10:15am on Sunday. In addition to being appointed Dorna’s new MotoGP Safety Advisor, Capirossi has now joined forces with BMW to be their MotoGP Expert. BMW M provides a selection of high performance cars for MotoGP’s safety vehicles and will be demonstrating the latest M6 coupe on track during the weekend. The cars are supported by BMW S 1000 RR safety bikes.
In addition to meeting Capirossi, visitors to the BMW Motorrad stand will have the opportunity to see the latest models from the 2012 range, including the revised S 1000 RR, K 1600 GT and GTL tourers, iconic R 1200 GS Rallye (now offered with £1765 worth of complimentary accessories), F 800 R roadster and the new G 650 GS Sertao adventure-sport bike. Visitors can also book test rides on these motorcycles, and more, which will be arranged by their local BMW Motorrad Dealership. The stand will be open from Thursday 14, for the Riders for Health Day of Champions, through to the end of the racing on Sunday.
