World of BMW tours

BMW Tours

Since our first tour back in 1998, World of BMW has established an enviable reputation for delivering premium bike tours to destinations all over the world. These range from short, 'Easy Riding' trips around Europe, to more exotic 'Adventures' in far flung locations, presenting you with a two-wheeled trip of a lifetime.

Our Tours are carefully crafted to suit riders of all abilities. Varying in duration, mileage and interests the 2010 programme will appeal to a wide range of participants. As in previous years, we have tailored, tweaked and improved our selection of Tours. As always, we endeavour to provide you with a memorable touring experience - whether discovering South Africa, Morocco, Central Europe or Scandinavia.

BMW Tour Director Richard Harvey has developed an extensive selection of motorcycle trips for 2010. For example, those seeking adventure may be interested in our September Tour of Eastern Europe, exploring the depths Montenegro and Bosnia. However, if you have a penchant for the finer things in life, our luxurious trip to Northern France, staying in some of the grandest 17th century chateaux in the region, while enjoying gourmet cuisine, might be the trip for you!

For 2010 we have grouped each of our tours in categories: Easy Riding, Luxury, Mountains and Lakes, Long Distance, Historical Interest and Adventure. Simple icons next to the title of every tour provides you with a clear indication of the areas of interest covered on each tour.

Why book with BMW tours?
  • The luxury of booking a group trip through World of BMW is the sheer simplicity of it all. We take away the stress of organising your own tour and, as a result of group bookings; they often prove to be less expensive. All arrangements are taken care of, leaving you to enjoy the open roads and stunning scenery
  • While we take care of organising the essential elements of the tour, including ferries, hotels and routes (providing GPS co-ordinates), there is plenty of freedom to go 'off piste', take different routes, and choose from a selection of dining options on many of the nights
  • Over the course of 12 years we have refined our tours, venues, hotel choices, route options and destinations to ensure we offer the very best available
  • We ensure there is mixture of tours that will appeal to all tastes – from the more lavish, to those on a budget; from those with adventurous aspirations, to those who prefer a more laid back approach
  • All of our tours are accompanied by an experienced, helpful and friendly Tour Leader
  • Our groups tend to be small with between 16-24 people per tour and around 10-15 bikes. For many, the camaraderie and social aspect of our BMW Tours is as important as exploring new territories
  • Our strongest endorsement is the level of repeat business. Each year we pride ourselves on the fact that more than 60% of our customers have previously joined us on a BMW Tour
  • While BMW Tours are primarily aimed at BMW customers we do welcome riders on other manufacturer’s machines
  • We take great pleasure in accommodating your needs and therefore handle hotel extensions for those wishing to arrive earlier and leave later on any of our "fly away" tours
  • BMW Tours are suitable for couples and solos We are also happy for partners to fly to destinations, join us for a few days and return home allowing the tour to continue
  • We welcome riders who bring their own bikes from the Continent. Additionally, we are able to help customers from further afield (e.g. the USA) who may require rental bikes
