BMW Motorrad Days 2012

BMW Motorrad Days 2012

  • Seven days/six nights
  • 1,400 miles
  • Experience BMW Motorrad's world-famous bike festival
  • Hosted by BMW Motorrad UK and the UK dealer network

Motorrad Days is the ultimate celebration of all things two-wheeled and BMW! Last year was bigger than ever, with more than 40,000 visitors making the annual trip to stunning Garmisch Partenkirchen. Specially hosted by BMW Motorrad UK, this short tour starts with a comfortable ride across to Motorrad Days, along some of the finest riding roads through France and Germany. We'll be based in a four-star hotel near the event itself, where we can come and go as we please, enabling us to enjoy all the entertainment at the festival. And, of course, there's the legendary Bavarian hospitality! We've structured the ride so that we'll arrive in Garmisch no later than mid-day to give us as much time as possible to enjoy the event both that afternoon and evening, with a full day to join in the festivities on Saturday too. However, for those more interested in riding miles and mountains, we'll have an optional extended route into Garmisch, which will take in some of those famous Alpine Mountain Passes. You'll get to experience the true Oktoberfest spirit with a stein of cold lager in your hand and a local band playing in the background. Our package includes VIP hospitality on the Saturday night, access to the World of BMW hospitality tent and an event t-shirt and stickers.

This year's trip is going to be the biggest ever, as we'll be a part of the official BMW Motorrad UK ride-out to Motorrad Days – so we'll be travelling with up to 200 BMW enthusiasts! After crossing into France, we'll have two overnight stops on the way to Garmisch Partenkirchen, two nights at BMW Motorrad Days and two stops on the ride home. We'll pass through some of the best parts of France and Germany, including Verdun, the Vosges Mountains and the Black Forest. This tour will combine the friendly atmosphere of a huge group ride with the unforgettable memories of the incredible BMW Motorrad Days festival.
