AT A GLANCE
|Dates||16 August to 24 August 2014|
|Distance||1,750 Miles / 2,850 Kms|
Another perennial favourite – for good reason. Mountains All the Way is one of our most riding focussed tours, with many miles to cover along, over and through the mountain on some of Europe’s very best riding roads.
The iconic B500 south of Baden Baden, to the Swiss and French Alps, the Tyrol, The Dolomites and the Vosges Mountains this tour is a relentless parade of bends, hairpins and passes. And that’s why it sells out early every year.
Our route south starts with a blast across France to the Vosges Mountains where we ride the Grand Ballon and the Col de la Schlucht before heading further south to Switzerland. Into the Alps and the Grimsell, Furka and Oberalop Passes await (with a 20 mile detour you can also ride the San Gotthard!). Stelvio, Oberjoch and many more await as we criss cross our way through the Alps and the Tyrol.
Our route home takes us through the Black Forest and the ever populate B500 Black Forest High Road and on to Reims for our tour end party.
You’ll need to be a confident rider, as the roads can be quite technical, but we promise that you’ll have the time of your life. The destinations are great but this one is definitely about the journey!
With Motorrad Tours you are very welcome to ride your own bike on tour or to use one of our bikes.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are booking with a hire bike and your trip starts in the UK we include two additional nights accommodation at the start of your tour. Please ensure you arrive two days prior to the official start date. This is to allow you to have a nights rest before picking up your hire bike. You can then familiarise yourself with the bike prior to taking half day pre tour ride with your Tour Leader. This way you are prepared and ready to enjoy your tour from day one, not spending the first days distracted fiddling with the bike.
