Wollaston Updated Covid July 2021 Group Statement
Following the latest announcement by the Prime Minister on Monday 12th July regarding the latest Step 4 of the Roadmap proceeding as planned on Monday 19th July, I wanted to outline how we will be there to help keep our customers mobile while working within the guidance laid out by Government.
Sales showrooms and used car external display areas will be open to the public, however our teams will continue to adopt all social distancing measures. The government has stated that moving to step four of the roadmap is a balance of risks and has urged the public to be cautious.
Although the majority of Covid restrictions will end on the 19th July with the emphasis moving to personal responsibility, we will continue to offer car sales remotely if you would prefer not to visit us in person, with the ability to send videos, talk to you via video conferencing or telephone meeting your needs almost as well as if you were with us. Customers can still purchase remotely and then arrange to collect their car or motorcycle directly from our dealerships, with all vehicle handovers taking place in a designated handover area, with full social distancing practices in place to ensure both team member and customer safety.
Home delivery options will also be available, and all handled in a Covid safe manner.
Our team members remain on hand to assist with your sales and aftersales enquiries either in person or via telephone, email & live chat and our websites are fully functional with the ability to reserve a car or motorcycle from the comfort of your home or workplace.
Our aftersales departments remain fully operational for servicing, MOT and repairs. We have instructed our teams to continue to apply full social distancing measures, with protective screens at our service desks as well as cashless payments to keep everyone safe and limit the risk of transmission.
Thank you for your patience, and for working with us to ensure our dealerships are a safe place to come and visit and for our team members to work which means we can remain fully open for business while remaining as safe as possible.
Best wishes
