All new BMW bikes benefit from Roadside Assistance cover in the first three years of ownership to offer you peace of mind for any of those unforeseen events. All Approved Used BMW bikes come with a minimum 24 months Roadside Assistance cover. Our experienced multilingual staff are on hand to help provide 24 hour support, 365 days a year in the event you require assistance. They will assist you on the phone in the first instance to try and get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
We will arrange assistance when a bike is immobilised. ‘Immobilised’ means an electrical or mechanical breakdown, punctures, road traffic accident, lost keys, misfuelling, damage or destruction by fire, theft or vandalism.

In the event of a breakdown, qualified specialists will help you quickly and professionally - regardless of whether you are at home or abroad. Around the clock, 365 days a year, we are here should you need us.
Our team will assess your situation and ensure the correct support measures are put into place. This can vary from expert tips over the telephone to sending out a mobile technician or a full bike recovery to a BMW Motorrad Retailer. Whatever your unique situation needs our team will make it happen and get you back on the road where possible, as quickly as possible.
In the event that you require further help, wherever practical to do so, we will arrange for one of our BMW Motorrad Customer Service Technicians to attend your location and attempt to fix your bike at the roadside.
Each one carries the latest diagnostic equipment and Genuine Parts to maximise their ability to successfully repair your bike. We’ll even send you a link so that you can track their progress as they make their way to you.
Should your bike need to be recovered to a BMW Motorrad Retailer. We will arrange recovery to your nearest BMW Motorrad Retailer, whether that be recovery location or home address.
We will keep you mobile until your bike is repaired. Whilst we can’t always arrange a replacement bike, we will make sure you are kept mobile in a hire car through one of our providers. You will be required to hold a valid driving license and comply with their standard terms and conditions.
Alternatively, should a hire car not be suitable we will support alternative means of travel to get you back on your way – whether that be public transport or taxi.
Should it be more practical for you, we’ll arrange overnight accommodation in the event you breakdown more than 50 miles from your home address. We’ll pay up to £100 per person, for one night, bed and breakfast for you and your passenger, within the UK – Four nights if you breakdown within Continental Europe.
Should you suffer a puncture we will attempt to repair the tyre at the roadside. If a temporary repair isn’t possible, we will recover you to the nearest BMW Motorrad Retailer, who’ll assist you further. We will keep you mobile* until your BMW Motorrad Retailer can supply and fit a replacement tyre.**
*Mobility will be through one of our approved hire car providers. A hire bike may not be possible.
**Only for tyres ordered through the BMW Motorrad Tyre Programme. In all other cases we’ll support with up to 24 hours mobility.
