Experience the charm of Bavaria on our new 2024 tour, Romantic Roads, packed with scenic mountain passes, quaint villages, and beautiful architecture.
We begin at the Ardennes, where you’ll ride alongside stunning forest hills and rivers before reaching the industrial town of Ruhr. Then, it’s on to Schloss Waldeck, the historic castle hotel in Waldeck overlooking the picturesque Lake Edersee.
Let the Romantic Roads commence as we head to Wurzburg, set in an idyllic hilly location and home to one of Germany’s most extensive wine-producing areas. A short ride south takes us to the medieval town Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Next stop is Bavaria’s oldest city, Ausberg, featuring the 11th-century St. Mary’s Cathedral. The romantic journey continues at the 700-year-old town of Fussen, located on the edge of the Alps and towering over the banks of the River Lech. We’ll take in the picturesque village routes and sweeping roads towards Lake Titisee and Baden Baden, before returning to our final night back in the Ardennes.
