Motorrad Tours - The Buddha Route: Thailand

Experience a mix of high culture and fabulous riding roads; the real Thailand full of rural wonders, temples and mountains. Two weeks of touring the heart of this incredible country gives us time to enjoy some of the best roads you will ever ride, along with stunning Buddhist monuments, national parks and ancient artefacts.

Ride into the Thai interior and discover a rural heartland of rice paddies, tropical forests, and villages still living to agricultural patterns that date back centuries. Ancient wooden bridges cross rivers to golden temples against the azure blue sky. A packed itinerary will see you visit impressive Buddhist temples as well as famous WWII sites such as Kanchana Buri, setting of The Bridge on the River Kwai.

You will also get the opportunity to ride some incredible motorcycling roads, tracking along the borders of Laos and Myanmar. Then test your skills along the mountainous and aptly named ‘Road of 1,864 bends’. Each time we come, riders describe it as the ‘best three days riding ever’ and for good reason.

This superb riding holiday delivers visual and cultural variety, from royal palaces to ancient caves containing 1,700-year-old coffins. As if that wasn’t enough, you’ll get to ride some of the world’s best mountain roads. This really is a tour like no other. Low daily mileages and only one mandatory dirt road section means this tour is accessible by all experienced riders. Thailand is called the land of smiles, and you will be smiling from start to finish.
