Visit three nations that were once part of Yugoslavia, in one of Europe’s most beautiful regions. Mountain roads meet coastal routes and stunning lakes.
Before touring Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Slovenia we spend three days riding through France, Belgium, and Italy, taking in the Ardennes, and the Alpine St Gotthard Pass, before arriving in Split from the overnight Ancona ferry.
Cruise along the delightful Croatian coast road to the beautiful port city of Dubrovnik, for a relaxed two night stay. Then it’s over the border to Sarajevo for another extended stop. The city was besieged in the 1990s civil war and has a long, rich history.
Back in Croatia you’ll see the elegant, rebuilt Mostar Bridge before a remarkable mountain ride takes us to Markarska back on the Adriatic Coast. Next, we travel through the Dinaric Alps, through the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes and Durmitor national parks. Your ride home takes in Slovakia’s Alpine Lake Bled and a night in Bavaria, having crossed the Grossglockner Pass, before our farewell dinner in the Champagne region.
