While chasing the spirit of the open road, BMW Motorrad created a powerful, emotional and highly exclusive six-cylinder, which turns every ride into a unique driving experience. The world premiere of the fascinating concept bike will take place at the exclusive Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, one of the world’s most significant events celebrating historic cars and motorcycles on Italy's Lake Como.

The BMW Concept 101 is the interpretation of a bagger, the exclusive custom bike style particularly popular in the USA. Its elongated, drop-shaped body is eye-catching. Clear lines and carefully modelled surfaces lend it a sportbike character – just the sight of it promises a unique riding experience. Dark wood detailing amid the silver painted surfaces with brushed aluminium and carbon add an exclusive and warm accent. Chief designer Edgar Heinrich and Americans Don Cammorata and Roland Sands are responsible for the design.

The BMW Concept 101 is the epitome of force. Powerful six cylinders with a displacement of 1,649 ccm supply enormous torque and propel the motorcycle over the asphalt beyond conventional HP values. It's not just the performance that is thrilling, but the aesthetics too. Setting new benchmarks in material and design quality. They redefine the limits of high quality and exclusivity that previously applied to motorcycles.
