We will arrange a motorcycle breakdown service to assist you in the event of your bike being immobilised, which can include:
If you require further help, wherever practical, we’ll arrange for one of our BMW Motorrad Customer Service Technicians to come to your location for motorcycle roadside recovery and attempt to fix your bike.
Each technician carries the latest diagnostic equipment and genuine parts to maximise the chances of a successful repair at the roadside. You’ll even receive a link to track their progress as they make their way to you.
If your bike cannot be fixed on-site, we’ll organise a motorcycle breakdown service to recover it to your nearest BMW Motorrad Retailer, whether that be the recovery location or home address. Our BMW Motorrad roadside assistance ensures that you have reliable recovery support wherever you ride.
We’ll keep you moving until your bike is repaired. While we can’t always arrange a replacement bike, our motorcycle roadside assistance includes access to a hire car through one of our trusted providers. You’ll be required to hold a valid driving license and comply with their standard terms and conditions.
If a hire car is not suitable, we’ll support alternative travel options to get you back on your way – whether that’s public transport or a taxi.
If it’s more practical for you, we’ll arrange overnight accommodation in the event you break down more than 50 miles from your home address. Our motorcycle breakdown service covers up to £100 per person for one night. This includes bed and breakfast for you and your passenger within the UK – four nights if you break down within continental Europe.
If you suffer a puncture, our team will attempt to repair the tyre at the roadside. If a temporary repair isn’t possible, we’ll recover your motorcycle at the roadside and take it to the nearest BMW Motorrad retailer for further assistance.
Included as part of our comprehensive BMW Motorrad roadside assistance, this means that even unexpected tyre issues are handled quickly and efficiently, keeping you on the road with minimal disruption.
We’ll keep you mobile* until your BMW Motorrad Retailer can supply and fit a replacement tyre.**
*Mobility will be through one of our approved hire car providers. A hire bike may not always be available.
**This applies only to tyres ordered through the BMW Motorrad Tyre Programme. In all other cases, we’ll provide up to 24 hours of mobility support.
