Mum shares her story.

Jennifer McCann gets a kick out of riding.

Jennifer had had enough. Always taking the back seat on a motorbike is not her style. She is a woman of action. She does things her way. A few years ago, she spontaneously learned to drive so that she could ride her own bike any time she felt like taking off. She wants time for herself – completely alone. To pull over wherever she fancies. To escape from phones, technology and work.

"
I run a family. And I ride a bike. #MAKEITSPEZIAL "

Mum. When her daughter calls her this, Jennifer fills with pride. Mum has everything under control: "I'm a woman and a mother who works full-time. Jennifer's bike is just as original as she is. This mum drives a retro twin, which was only available in the United States for a short period. She likes cruising, enjoys a relaxed riding style, prefers being on the country roads – away from Ventura City, California, and always happy with a change of scenery.

It may not be clear to everyone. But Jennifer has her priorities straight - safety comes first: "I would never mount my bike without a helmet, my leather jacket and my boots." When "Gypsy" by Fleetwood Mac comes on the radio there's no holding her back, she puts on her gear and hits the road. The song doesn't just make her want to open the throttle. It also makes her reflect on her past. On all her travels. Born in Salt Lake City, she often moved around here and there, lived in Jakarta, New York City, Boston and Los Angeles.

It's clear to Mum: She's not going to give up motorcycling just because she became a mother. On the contrary. She thinks it more likely that she will encourage her children to enjoy this way of life and this attitude. Then Jennifer will show her daughter what it means to take cool rides on a motorbike.
