The standard equipment includes the R 90 S tribute paintwork, a captivating Lava Orange Metallic paint scheme with red double pinstriping. With a brushed aluminium fuel tank and rear cover. The seat and backrest feature orange contrast seams, while the front fairing is equipped with a dark tinted windshield for a sleek, sporty look.

To enhance the R 12 S further this model comes equipped with the Option 719 billet packs Shadow I & II. These premium-quality milled black aluminium parts further enhance the bike's stunning appearance and includes Cylinder Head Covers, Oil Filler Plug Cover, Ignition Coil Covers, Hand & Foot Levers, Footrest System, Tank Covers & Handlebar End Mirrors.

Complementing the bold styling are the silver spoke wheels from the Option 719 Classic range. These natural aluminium anodized wheels pair beautifully with the black accents from the Shadow Billet packs.

Its not all about looks with the R 12 S, performance is paramount and to ensure the perfect ride the Comfort Pack including Hill Start Control, Gearshift Assist Pro and Heated Grips are standard.

For enhanced safety and connectivity, the optional Tyre Pressure Control and ConnectedRide Control systems have been selected for your pre-order model.

Your selected BMW Motorrad Retailer will reimburse your reservation fee within 30 days.

What happens next after I pre-order the R 12 S online and how will I be contacted?

In your online pre-order, you have the option to select your preferred BMW Motorrad Retailer as well as your desired contact method (email, text, phone). Your retailer will get in touch with you within 24 hours (on workdays) to confirm your purchase.

When will the R 12 S be shipped after being pre-ordered online?

Due to high demand, it is expected that the availability of the R 12 S will be limited at the beginning of production.

The first models will be delivered starting from the first quarter of 2025. With an online pre-order, you’ll claim your spot right at the front of the queue.

Can I change the configuration of my new R 12 S after my online pre-order?

At the start of production, two vehicle configurations of the R 12 S will be built. If you wish to change your configuration, please contact your BMW Motorrad Retailer.
